History and Profiles

History behind the Company

Northwest Senior Management Services, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Penelope J. Leiment, MS, ANP in response to the growing needs of the elderly community. NSMS is a unique company that maintains the highest quality nursing and in-home caregiving staff, serving the greater Portland Metro area and parts of Southwest Washington. Using a "fee for service" model that is closely coordinated to minimize fragmentation of care, NSMS provides services for older adults and their families, either directly or by referral. Working with a staff of Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and qualified professional in-home caregivers, Ms. Leiment created a corporation that provides services in the home, wherever home is.
Today NSMS has grown in size and services provided to the members of our community. Please review our website and explore the many options provided to you and your family to help you maintain independence and dignity in the the home of your choice.
